The house will sleep 6 people comfortably and is set just outside a small town near the Lecrin Valley. The panoramic views within this area of outstanding natural beauty are breath taking. Ideal for the winter skier (Ski resort 45mins) or summer sightseer (beach 30mins) you will not be dissapointed when you discover rural Spain. To the south east of Granada the snowcapped peaks of the Sierra Nevada rise up as the highest in the Southern Iberian Penninsula. The city of Granada boasts the magnificent Alhambra Palace, a stunning Renaissance cathedral, gypsy cave dwellings not to mention a lively nightlife and free tapas. Casa Amistad (house of friends) is situated on the outskirts of the small town of Durcal (population approx 6000). Locally you will find supermarket's, butcher's, cafe's, restaurant's and bar's everything you will need to make you stay more pleasurable. Durcal town has weekly markets, a regular bus service to Granada and hosts magnificient fiesta's during the year. With a 30 minute drive to the coast there is an opportunity for watersports, fishing and much more.
